Holiday Spirit

As Christmas and New Year’s rapidly approach, I think of all the people who mean the most to me. With each holiday I can’t wait to make it a memorable one for my son.

I hope your holiday season is just as joyous as mine.

Writer’s Fest 2012

So, I’m just getting home from the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School‘s 2012 Writer’s Fest. The book selections were plentiful and the prices were very, very reasonable ($1.00) as well as the culinary confectionaries (also $1.00). I was fortunate enough to hang out with my fellow wordsmith and friend, Gail, who so graciously invited me to this event. And to my surprise, there was a workshop that seemed made just for me!

The Workshop: From First Draft to Publication

The Speakers: Meg Medina & Aimee Agresti

This workshop was inspiring and helpful on a level that I needed. To see my peers go out into the world and grab life by the lapels (as Maya Angelou would say), is very motivating and daring. With the tools I’ve acquired today, I’m even more assured that I’m headed in the right direction.

HERE I COME WORLD!

Best endeavors in all you do!

Big Girl Big Panties

There's this fat girl who parks her fat ass in every girl's big panties sooner or later. Let's find out how she changes ,and I imply both literally and figuratively when I say-the dimensions when she stomps her fat foot in our lives.
